Kain frowned deeply at Blythe's words, watching her steadily from his seat. He had to admit, he was already regretting acting so childishly. ...At least, a little. "There seem to be quite a few unexpected actions going around lately." The dragoon replied, his words coming out as almost flippant rather than accusatory.
With that he stood, his movements somewhat stiff until he had taken a few steps. Kain still wasn't exactly the best at expressing just how much he cared, and in times like this, it was just easier to go down the totally immature route than to fully face the worry that was nagging at the back of his mind. There were only a handful of people that Kain would ever get that worked up about, and they had all at least been warriors of some sort. He had faith in Blythe's abilities, but that didn't mean he wouldn't have minded the extra edge that being trained for combat would have offered her.
He brushed past Blythe, and out into the hallway, starting on his way to the barn. He glanced over at her as they walked, and her brisk stride spoke of how displeased she was. So he stayed silent, for the moment. No need to completely piss her off and miss the chance of seeing her reaction to the many horses and one chocobo stored in the barn.
