Brandy noticed the gaze (Sal had been on the giving and receiving end of those when she went on mercenary missions), and she flushed with happiness and pride. She appreciated the slight distance he created between them, as she wasn't naturally a touchy-feely person herself.
"Oh, you know, they're all gone now," Brandy flipped her hair, carelessly shrugging. "I've actually spent more time with the girls, believe it or not! I know they're jealous of my looks, but they hide it really well! Besides, all the hot guys there are taken." She pouted, before winking. "I have more of a thing for bad boys."
Then she twiddled her thumbs, as though already bored with the conversation. Two seconds later, her eyes sparkled again. "So, what're you doing out here? Shopping maybe? Getting a little trinket for your wonderful, fabulous girlfriend?"
