On Her Way to the Barn
Tohru couldn’t just sit by and watch. Everyone who could, needed to lend a hand. Even her! She grabbed a bucket and rushed outside, pausing once she reached Asgard’s front porch.
The smell of the smoke was thick in the air. It filled Tohru’s nose and stung her eyes. And she briefly started to doubt her actions. What should she do? Where should she go? She looked around for others nearby. Someone who could tell her what to do and direct her, but everyone in the immediate area was distracted. Oh mom! I’m scared and what’s worse, I don’t know what to do!
She then noticed Blythe nearby, and judging by the woman’s posture, she appeared to be upset. Tohru made a move towards her, wanting to provide her some comfort, but then the cry of panicked horses caught her ear. Her gaze shifted from Blythe to the burning barn. The animals in there could be trapped!
She swallowed and clung tightly to the bucket in her arms. “I-I’m sorry.” Tohru apologized as she ran past her. The animals needed to be saved.
