Kamina had spared only the time to drench his brilliant scarlet cloak as thoroughly as he possibly could in the pool of water situated in the corner of the room he and Henry shared. There were so many areas ablaze, and seemingly so few of them...
But like hell was he going to let that stop them! Seeing little he could do for the garden with such a limited tool at his disposal, Kamina followed the fleeting, fiery-haired shape of Mitch's back toward the barn. Watching the youth boldly walk in, Kamina couldn't help the tiny smirk. Good kid. Sparky's fiery powers probably extended to some protection from flame, too.
An advantage Kamina lacked, but damned if that was going to get in his way. Cape bundled in one hand, he snatched up one of the milking buckets and dunked it in the trough to fill it with water, jogging into the barn after Mitch. The kid might be fireproof, but that didn't mean he could do everything alone...
