Re: The Garden Maze
Dorian had been feeding his fish at the time the fires started outside of Asgard. He'd had the shutters back, allowing the dawn light to spread across his bedroom floor. He wouldn't have noticed the fires if he hadn't turned to close the windows for the evening. And when he saw them seizing the gardens and surrounding buildings, even his dead heart ached abominabally.
After his initial split-second shock, he slipped his marble in, transforming into Jared. Jared, in his silent, hardened way, then exited the room and bolted outside, looking for anything or anyone that could help him extinguish this nightmare. At first, he caught sight of Mitch dashing off into the barn and almost chose to follow him. But Jared, reserved as he was, did not lack in intelligence, and he knew Mitch's abilities would keep him much safer than they would have anyone else. Instead, the dark-skinned man's head swivelled around at the sound of someone yelling numbers at the fire.
He ran over to who he could only assume was Raziel, but stopped short when the angel started spouting water from his palm. The marble form decided then to follow suit and approached cautiously.
"I will find a hose and help you!" He yelled over the wild cracklings of the fire. Not waiting for an answer, he turned and ran back towards the mansion in search of what he promised.
