"Good food," she said, and shrugged. Lina was not her younger friend Amelia, by any means. Her 'justice-loving' friend, Amelia, would've gone into a speech about how protecting the world from evil was a wondrous cause, and that the companionship of fellow heroes was a constant inspiration. Lina had always, to the public, seemed more like a villain than any hero.
Despite this, she'd saved the world no less than three times. Still, it had only served to make her reputation that much more terrible - she was feared that much more for her power. She really wished she'd known who had started those vile rumors about her...she really wasn't that bad!
Even so, Lina had a temper and a number of other vices. She was inherently selfish, but in the end, she really didn't wish for world destruction or anything like that. She wanted to experience life, have fun, and maybe someday experience that thing called love! But she wouldn't say any of those things out loud.
Instead, the sorceress left it pretty much at that. "The company is probably better, too. There's a number of weirdos on your team," she said honestly. And there was Carrion the 'midnight prince'. Ugh! Why did there always have to be some 'prince' who ruined her mental image of one?
