Tuesday, Noon
Yesterday, in the early morning, Granny had walked with Blythe to Syd's Shop and remained silent as the two women bargained. Ever since Blythe had been ill prior to New Year's Eve, Granny had been a fierce companion for the girl if she ever needed help. While Granny had no personal interest in Sydonai, she could feel Poppy squirming deep inside, excited and anxious about playing with Sydonai. But that was not the time.
When they returned to Asgard, Dorian had an internal conversation with Poppy, and told her that if she behaved herself, he would take her to see Sydonai. Well, with that calmed her down immensely. So much so, that when none of the spirits heard another peep out of her for twenty-four hours, Dorian let her come out. The little girl then rushed through the forests to Emptiness, technically invisible so that neither friend nor foe could spot her. With Quigby's commands, she found Syd's shop almost immediately, bursting through the front doors, already reaching for the dolls in her coat pockets.
"Hi, Sydonai!" She grinned, skipping to the back of the shop.
