You Know Life Ain't Over Yet, I'm Here For You, So Don't Forget Who: Mitch and Morana Where: Outside Asgard, The Chapel of Melody When: Morning, Two Days after New Year Rating: PG Warnings: Um, fluff and a little smidge of angst possibly. Summary: After the events with Blythe on New Year's Eve, Morana beging to worry about if she will ever have the capability and nerve to 'fight back', so decides to go back to the little church she went to before. Wanting to honour her promise of not leaving Asgard on her own, she asks Mitch to come with her, and he accepts. Now, all that's left to do do is wait and see what will occur...
The cool morning air was brisk and sharp, and the wind that carried it through the forest, across Emptiness, and towards Asgard on made it more clear that winter still held the land in it's grasp. It was only the start of the New Year, and it almost seemed like the cold would not lift, the slight bitter winds taunting that spring might never come.
Morana shivered a little, rubbing her hands up and down her arms to keep warm. It was still early, and the sun was still rising in the sky, not yet able to provide complete warm to the earth below, or the inhabitants on it. She rubbed her hands together, gently exhaling on her palms to allow her warm breath to aid her chilled skin. Truthfully she hadn't really thought about the weather, she never did. She was all too used to surviving with nothing, so she paid no heed to the cold. The thought of wearing a jacket or cloak didn't even cross her mind since she was so used to just getting on with things. Living in the woods on your own for so long had that sort of effect after all.
Regardless, the girl contented herself looking up at the quiet, clear morning sky, allowing the breeze to brush past her, causing her long wild hair to ripple and wave in the wind as she waited for Mitch. Morana did her best to keep her mind off the reasons for this excursion, not wanting to waste her energy on such thoughts. They would need it if she was to show her fellow Asgardian the church she trained at, and the walk would be much harder due to the wintry conditions. Not to mention she did not want to worry her companion, he was being kind enough agreeing to come with her after all.
