Kain straightened up the moment that Blythe pushed his hand away, watching her curiously as she healed her ankle. It was quite obvious that Blythe was greatly distressed, and the fact that she was holding it together enough to actually cast magic was impressive.
"Of course, Blythe." He replied, stepping back a bit to give her some space. He had a fairly good idea of what she was going through, and the last thing he wanted was to push her over the edge when she had finally gotten a hold of herself.
The walk back to Asgard was quiet, though Kain couldn't help but glance at Blythe every once in a while, as though to make sure that she was still stable. Or at least as stable as she could get until after midnight. He finally relaxed once they were back inside Asgard, knowing that now nobody could be seriously injured.
Kain stopped when he got to the door of the room he and Blythe shared, turning to Morana and Alessa, a ghost of a smile flickering across his face. "I think I can handle it from here. Blythe seems to need some space." Realizing it had been a long night for all of them, he shrugged. "You two should probably rest, anyway."
Now his main concern was warming Blythe back up and keeping her company for the rest of the night. She wasn't in any shape to be left alone, after all she'd been through. He wasn't the best at comforting people, but he knew enough that he would probably not screw this up.
