Kain had run by without pause and that was a great relief. Her breath had quickened for a moment, frightened that he would see her. When he didn't, she tightened into a smaller ball, shivering and almost in tears again. She was this close to shutting out everything but trying to keep herself warm when another familiar aura stood before her. Alessa.
Moaning, Blythe covered her face with her hands, her nails digging into her scalp. She would have tried to ignore her (but, really, ignoring Alessa just doesn't happen), but she heard another voice - a softer, lighter voice. Morana had joined Alessa. They'd found her.
Frustrated, Blythe felt the burning tears finally pour down her face, lifted her head up, and screamed at them. "Leave me alone!" She wiped at her tears, gazing agonizingly at the sewn blue aura and the radiant yellow aura. "Please, just leave me here. I do not wish to kill you, understand that. Understand!"
Her hands slid up her cheeks and pressed against her ears, trying to drown out any sound they or their bodies would make.
