If Blythe had been in her right mind, she never would have said those things to Alessa. Time would tell if she would remember this conflict or not, but for now, she was too far out of her mind to care. Instead, when Alessa finished yelling at her and Kain finished yelling at both of them, the blind girl just chuckled, as though she found this amusing.
"Your blood is boiling." She smirked before lolling her head back. "I can taste it on the tip of my tongue and feel it running between my fingers. You would be so grateful. So venerable." Blythe clicked her tongue and stared at Kain. "The cycle of life must continue. Your heir inside her corpse. Not this year, unfortunately. But next year, perhaps..."
That being said, Blythe fell into deep-throated laughter before falling silent alltogether. The desperation had yet to seep in - there were still six hours left and the desperation didn't strike her until about ten, which was when she sought Ryuzaki. Until then, she had to placate them long enough to eventually burn through her ropes with her matchstick spell. And that would take time.
