Alessa's eyes quickly darted to Kain, and then back to Blythe. She refused to waiver, even when Blythe decided to snap at them. "Just as I said. No!" Alessa stated firmly to the blind woman.
Then she listened to Blythe talking about sacrifices, and something inside of Alessa snapped. Over run by her emotions she didn't care if Kain heard what she was about to say.
"A sacrifice? Nothing to fear? I've already been a sacrifice once! What could ever give you the idea that I'd want to be one again?"
Alessa wanted to smack the woman, but managed not to. She also didn't mention that she was immortal, and that Blythe's sacrifice would probably not succeed in killing her, only causing her a great deal of pain.
