Midvalley settles down in his seat and brings his saxophone to his lips. The song starts out slow and seductive, representing how they met and Jazz's very fortunate overtures. It continues slowly, even injecting a note of sadness, representing Niflheim. Then it speeds up a bit, using the wild free notes his music teacher had told him came from Louisiana on old Earth. That represents, well, everything.
He keeps his eyes closed as he plays, but occasionally peeks to see Jazz's reaction. It's been a while since he wrote an original piece and he's very curious how it will be received.
