This place is so bright and so clean....
Who: Maria and Misa Where: Asgard Ballroom When: Shorty after shop announcement Rating: PG-13 Warnings: None right now Summary: Distracted and trying not to lose herself to the past, Maria heads to the ballroom to work out and figure out what to do with herself.
The ballroom had been decorated, like everything else in Asgard. Maria sighed some as she looked at the garlands and tinsel, trying to feel some of the excitement and spirit that so many of the others here in Asgard felt. But the spirit of the season escaped her, even though she'd dressed for the holiday. Red cotton shorts and sweatshirt over a green tank top.
The green clashed with the pink in her hair.
Taking a deep breath, Maria put on a CD - Christmas Rock, why not? - and began stretching. Honestly, she had a good thing here in Asgard. She supposed she had friends, though Dorian was the only one she'd be willing to give the title to. But people liked her, for the most part, or at least pretended to. While she hadn't made any special efforts to befriend Zefiris, she liked the woman well enough, and had no quarrels with sharing space with her. The place itself was pleasant, and she had no particular vested interest in fighting any wars between the trials. All in all, she supposed she was content.
Those empty feelings that had felt so strong when she first arrived had faded, only spiking occasionally when things reminded her. Of course, a great deal of things had been reminding her lately. There was nothing to be done for it, but perhaps a hard workout would put her mind at ease.
And perhaps that woman with her promise of magical tattoos and sundries could be of some help....
Trying to put the thoughts out of her mind, Maria finished her stretches and reached for a bottle of water.
