"Then we are two." His answer was as brusk as a slap in the face. Annoyance at being denied the chance to end this useless conflict tinted his words.
"Unfortunately," he continued. "My methods weren't seen as a suitable form of conflict management."
Oh, how he hated it when he's not allowed to do what he pleases. To be ordered to stand down, to just look and watch, seemed to worst kind of torture to him.
His fingers itch for a fight, a battle where it will be finally decided who has won.
