Frowning lightly, Blythe didn't quite understand what he meant when he said "boot-licking". After all, it was only an honest observation and she had no intentions of sounding like a kiss-up. Admittedly, his harsh tone insulted her rather than spooked her.
Raising an eyebrow and linking her fingers together, she said very plainly: "If you expect everyone here to either be a fool or a sycophant, you will be sorely disappointed. I merely made an observation. You didn't need to become so defensive."
Blythe was aware that she knew little of Vader's life before he came to this world. But he knew less of her. And to make assumptions that she would mindlessly compliment people made her realize that he had a lot of learning to do. Leaning back in her chair, she sighed, "You are free to leave now."
