As the fight--or rather, beating--continued on, Banru watched discreetly from the window of his room, looking fairly disinterested in the whole thing. After a short moment of watching Sal pummel the redheaded Asgardian who had almost ruined his plan with Morana, Banru turned back to the shimmering blue set of symbols before him.
There were twelve of them, each more complex than the last. This protective barrier had not been easy to construct, especially from this distance. Though Sal hadn't specifically asked for physical protection, the immortal had included it in the package. It wouldn't be that much harder to add, and it would have been a shame if Sal had been killed or seriously injured before Banru could collect his debts.
The cost in energy for this was massive. Banru sincerely hoped that he wouldn't be forced to do any other magic any time soon. That could get messy.
((Just popping in to let everyone know Banru is alive~ Carry on. <3))
