The expressions on Mitch's face before, during, and after the blows Sal landed on him filled the murderer with such glee. He knew he was technically cheating, but then again, there was no such thing as an advantage when fighting someone who could control and manipulate fire. This time, Mitch really deserved what he got and Sal was intent on letting him have it.
This was for all the times he, Alessa, and everyone else in Asgard thought they could simply get away with it.
When he saw Mitch's hand seize his wrist, he expected the outcome, and twisted his arm in the direction that Mitch's hand did. This alleviated most of the pain, but there was still some agony caused by this movement. It was then Sal noticed that his hand and arm were on fire. It was strange to see it, to know he couldn't feel it.
"You know, I think someone as smart as you will figure out pretty quickly what this means." His free hand came up and snagged Mitch's hair and pulled hard. "Or do you wanna make sure that the third time's the charm?"
