Eileen hated following Sal's orders but she had no choice, so she sat down on the ground and waited. She was afraid, though she refused to show that to Sal. And she had been through worse: what Walter Sullivan had done to her, to her and Henry, was worse than anything Sal could do... except that Sal could still kill them.
She didn't mean to get Henry in trouble again. If only she hadn't... well, there was no point in dwelling on that now. But she just hoped she'd survive this, get the chance to apologize for letting him down. Henry meant so much to her; she had already realized that before this... and she only hoped Sal wouldn't hurt him. Or Mitch. Sal was way too obsessed with Mitch.
