"Ha." Blythe released under her breath in relief just before Kain's enthusiasm in the dance increased. Her hand tightened in his as the little extra panache caught her by surprise. Obviously, he was in a very good mood.
This good mood did stun her somewhat. He'd clearly been a fair bit cheerful since he arrived to the dance, and she'd wondered if she really was the cause for it or if there was something else. After all, she'd been rather distant to Kain the last several weeks. And even after now that she knew why, it still confused her that he was here, dancing with her, after all the frustrations she'd caused him.
Falling in step after a moment of pause, Blythe was going to ask him about his good mood when he then did perhaps the dumbest thing he could have possibly done: he asked about Lina. The blind girl realized she was a fool and stopped dancing, her heart having sunk a great deal. To hide her shame, her typical icy exterior returned and Blythe yanked her hands from Kain.
"There is a chance she could be. Perhaps you should go and seek her out." She finally said, sounding almost as though she were diagnosing him. "Clearly her safety is important to you. I should go."
With that, Blythe found her walking stick and prepared to leave.
