It had taken him some time to decide on which costume, specifically, to wear. After a great deal of consideration, he chose the white. White chainmail style armor, a plain gold surcoat and cloak, and a sword in a gold scabbard at his hip. He didn't think it was real.
It had been ages since he'd worn a costume. And never one like this. It almost...didn't seem like a costume. It was too realistic. At least it wasn't hard to move in.
Well, time to make sure everything went well. Henry headed down to the ballroom, clinking slightly as he moved, and took stock of everything for a moment. It looked good. And everyone was in costume, and looked like they were enjoying themselves.
And there was Eileen. Henry cleared his throat and headed over, suddenly feeling very sheepish and silly. As he approached, he wondered if he should bow. She really did look like a fairy princess.
