This was quite a hilarious situation for Sal. With his gun pointed at a quivering young lady who had believed very truly at one point that Sal was going to be the death of her, the asexual couldn't help but...make faces at Banru while talking.
Because Morana couldn't see them. And as far as he was concerned, it was all just a game anyway.
So he was pleased (Impressed, but why wouldn't he be? It was Banru's plan after all) that his partner in crime sounded more than halfway convincing. An amateur, he was not.
So Sal stuck his tongue out and waggled it for a moment before responding in an all-too serious voice: "I'd wager my trigger finger over your slingshot spell any day, pumpkin." He pressed the barrel of the gun into Morana's head just a little harder. "Would you like to take a chance? Besides, what does she matter anyway. I would have killed her in time regardless."
