Morana was distracted, so busy she only just registered the disturbance in the back of her mind when she heard a voice speak. Quickly looking up, her eyes widened, petrified, and in that moment, it was like time stopped; there was no escape.
She didn't really know Sal, but it was very hard not to know of him. He was known, infamous even, as a terrible, terrible person in Asgard. Apparently he got under everyone's skin, many of the best of the team bothered or infuriated by him, and was just deadly in action as in words. She knew Mitch was always fighting with him, and that he had attacked Blythe right outside Asgard. This person was dangerous, and had to leave, quickly!
Her breath was shaky and rasping, her body now tense, frozen in place. Unable to hide her fear, Morana wearily attempted to ready herself to run, hands on the ground as if preparing to launch herself to her feet and run as if her life depended on it.
If what all things said about Sal were accurate, that might not be far from the truth.
