Denial: It ain't a river in Egypt! Who: Blythe and Kain Where: Inside Asgard, first floor hallway When: Two days after Fancy Dress Day, early afternoon. Rating: PG, maybe PG-13 due to possible meanness? Warnings: Fighting of the verbal variety, two grouchy and short tempered people? Summary: Kain and Blythe, still angry with each other, cross paths by chance. Apparently they aren't capable of even walking past each other without fighting. Good times!
In recent days, Kain was once again becoming used to being in a rather foul mood most of the time. Both Sal and Gin seemed to be ready to stir up trouble--hell, Sal already was--and he had no clue what his teammates were up to anymore. None of them were particularly chatty, and the only ones who were speaking up and not acting strangely were Mitch, Dorian, and maybe Alice. Ryuzaki and Alessa were his top concerns, and the dragoon was starting to get slightly worried that Metatron hadn't said a word in quite a while.
Kain didn't like being in the dark, and lately it seemed as though everyone was hiding something. Though he would never admit it to anyone, least of all himself, Sal had successfully made him slightly uneasy about what his teammates were doing. Not that he wasn't already very wary of Ryuzaki, but Alessa's words were now weighing on his mind, as well. Why did everything have to be difficult?
Kain exited his room, sighing and closing the door behind him softly. When in doubt, it was time to go beat the crap out of inanimate objects in the training area.
