{AN: Take your time with it all, hun! We all cool! =D And sorry school's been cramming ya.}
While Kain had offered Dorian immediately begin training with him, he hesitated and allowed Zefiris to explain to Kain what her definition of what a dragoon was. She seemed more interested in talking with Kain and sharing tidbits of information with him. They must have been having some detailed discussion before he showed up. He wondered if she didn't like him - that brief disagreement they'd just had was some indication that they certainly didn't agree on some very important things. He liked Zefiris. But if she didn't like him, he'd accept that. Dorian loved friends, but he wouldn't force his friendship upon her.
Bouncing in place, he began doing some stretches to allow Kain to respond. This soul was used more than others, but that still meant its body was used two or three times a month. And if he was preparing to pounce on Kain and fight with him, his body needed to be in good condition. Lastly, playfully, he did a handstand before he heard a break in Kain's conversation with Zefiris.
Gaining his footing, Dorian then charged forward, right fist sailing towards the center of Kain's chest, his feet spread apart that if Kain blocked it, he could swing around an ankle and trip the dragoon. He was by no means talented at fighting, but he sure had the charisma to make his clueless attacks look elegant and well-planned. He had a feeling Zefiris would still not be impressed.
