Kain bristled a bit as Zefiris spoke to Dorian, but he kept his silence. Dorian's views may have been naive, but in many ways the mummy had the mentality of a child. While he may have agreed with some of what Zefiris had said, Kain saw no reason to speak to him as though he were a threat to the team.
As Zefiris offered the dragoon an explanation as to what a D-Knight was, Kain found himself greatly taken aback when she referred to herself as a "dragoon". This girl--or weapon, or whatever she was--was certainly full of surprises. "Yes, she does." Kain replied to Dorian, his tone sounding almost bewildered. He didn't understand why someone would create a weapon in the shape of a young woman, but then, they all came from different worlds. "I'm assuming a dragoon isn't the same thing on your world as it is on mine." He said, casting Zefiris a curious glance as Dorian transformed.
His attention was drawn back to Dorian as he called out in his new, clear voice. Now that he was in one of his more athletic forms, they could start showing Zefiris the ropes. "How about we show our friend here some of the basics?" Kain suggested, with a small smile. "Try to hit me."
