Who: Light, Sal (Open) Where: Emptiness When: Sometime after the Trial started and before it ends. Take your pick on a date. Rating: Dunno..PG? Warnings: He's getting his item..Unless language is involved, I dun think we really need to worry.
He held a bag loosely in his hand, walking all by his lonesome along the same path he walked most every day. repetition. repetition. Schedule. Had to stay organized and on a schedule. But make sure the schedule gets changed up a bit often, so no one catches on. The same mistake Mikami made would not be made by Light. Don't get too wrapped up in repetition, or it could be your downfall.
So, he walked along the path, knowing tomorrow he'd have to change the way he went. Maybe he should do so today? No. Might as well let his mind wander. L had been here. For what reason? It was before the party. He must have been here for some good reason in order to have left the safetiness of Asgard before the Trials.
Of course, the answer was obvious. Cameras. In order to keep himself feeling safe, he had to take his paranoid approach towards everything. Surely the detective was tired of being caught off-guard and harmed. It simply wasn't th elife he was used to. He was always shut-in and kept away from said harm. Atleast...after he had been taken into Watari's custody.
Watari...Wammy.
Light found himself wanting to thank Rem at that moment, for having gotten rid of the elderly man as well. He had been a threat, too. And he would surely be a threat if he came back here to help L. Of course, with how L had been toward that Frank Sunderland man, he could eventually have another Watari on his hands. Not quite as smart as the original, but still a threat.
While he thought, he kept his eyes out for someplace he could get some feathers. No birds in the area that he knew of. So...pillows? Maybe. That could be a possibility.
L was paranoid. He had been the whole time Light knew of him. Never showing his face until the Kira case. He would not have done so if it were a regular case..if he didn't need help.
Paranoid.
And surely the way to pull Asgard apart.
Paranoia. If he played his cards right, he'd ruin their side. Paranoia is catchy. Once one person becomes as such, the feeling spreads, like an infectious disease. The people in Niflheim were used to being paranoid, what with their crimes and such, but the people in Asgard were, for the most part, people who had been on the receiving end of such sins, were more trusting, and/or had not sinned very often.
Yes..once paranoia sets in, it'd be much less of a problem to bring their side down. And, for someone who had been paranoid most of their life, this would not be hard to instill into them. Old habits die hard.
So, he would sit back and watch for the moment, wait to see if the paranoia would set in, and then he'd target the next easiest person to put into that state. Maybe Sal could be of help again in the future. Despite the fact that Light didn't trust the asexual, he was still useful.
His mind began to wander again, in a different direction.
Allen.
He wasn't human, Light was sure of this. He didn't...feel right. He seemed to be a bit of a sex addict, like several other people Light knew, and it was quite an annoyance to talk to the 'man' because of such. Though, Light's curiousity was peaked, and he wanted to know just what this guy was all about. A habitual liar, even more so than he and L are.
His thoughts continued on this course as he walked.
