Indeed, it was still hard to really accept that she could move on, that she hadn't stolen away that young innocent life, but a part of Morana really wanted to move on. She wanted to be of use to her new teammates, which she never would be if burdened with her guilt. She would have to overcome it, eventually.

She moved her hand away from the cross to give herself some support on the ground, before smiling through the tears, before leading up to give him a hug. He had done this before to make her feel better, it was the best way, at least she thought, to repay his friendship.
