It was a young life lost, and that was probably something that hurt Morana the most. She had stolen a life because of her fear. And as that girl had fell, and they had looked at each other, Morana had seen the fear in that young child's eyes as well.
She saw how Dorian was trying to be so good about it all, to be strong. It made her feel a bit better, though shakey abut telling the whole truth. After all, she was mourning a person who's death was her fault.
"W-Well, n-nois-se isn't b-bad. A-Aft-ter all..." she said, pausing as voice choked a little. " A ch-child's l-li-f-e s-shoul-ld b-be f-full of l-lau-ught-ter."
Yes, that little girl probably had spent many days on the beach having fun, running and playing. And yet all that had been gone in a instant when teh cliff had crumbled beneath her feet, sending her to her death in the waters below.
