It was still so clear it was ffrightening, that memory. And seeing it projected before her on that odd day had worsened it. The last day she spent in her world, feeling guilt and sadness that was overpowering, it could have claimed her soul, and her life, if she hadn't been dropped into Asgard that night. This place, her teammates, literally saved her from execution. They had also saved her soul, let her discover was it was like being with other people. She could never show her gratitude enough for that.
For them, she would do her best. She would overcome these fears and demons in order to move on, and be a strong person who they could count on.
Suddenly feeling the hand on hers, Morana looked back at Dorian, seeing how he attempted to make her feel better. She offered a small smile, eyes slightly teary, before looking back again and standing up, still holding onto the mummy's hand. Not too tight though, for fear of it breaking off again.
"I'll...sh-show y-you, if y-you w-want." she said softly, waiting to see if he would stand up as well. Dorian was her friend, she could trust him.
