Dorian shook his head lightly. He couldn't move forcefully or animatedly or his jaw would fling off, and he'd already scared her enough as it was.
Speaking of scaring her...
"Everyone notices." He smiled again, this time looking at her. "Eeeeven when we d-d-don't mean...t-t-to. A lllot of....of people g-get hurt that way. If we d-don't notice." Then his smile turned sad. "Nnnnot dragged! Just concerned. Ffffriends....friends are concerned, nnnnot dragged."
He remembered briefly when he'd hugged her about a month ago. They were not that dissimilar, Morana and him. He'd never say that out loud - to be compared to him, what sort of insult was that? But they were both wounded by pasts and he could see that in her. She was family in that way.
Her last question made that very smile turn sheepish and he cautiously raised the stub of his left limb. "I lost it."
