Batten Down The Hatches
Who: Schroedinger and Sal {OPEN}
Where: Niflheim's Ship
When: Fourth Afternoon of Pirate Week
Rating: PG-13 (subject to change)
Warnings: Threats, Language, Sal Shooting Schro
Summary: After a string of big-talk/little-man conversations, Schroedinger and Sal decide to meet on the ship of Niflheim. They sound catty, almost playful, but for a pair of crazy assholes, things generally tend to be more than what they appear.
To say Sal didn't get along with Schroedinger was an understatement. In fact, the asexual gunslinger hated Schro for the very reason she hated herself - because she was good at what she did and she knew it. True, Schro's bragging did nothing more to her than make her roll her eyes in disdain, but she knew an honest killer when she heard one, over-exaggerated cockiness or not.
So getting to meet the kitty cat would be a real treat. Because of the last week's incidents, Sal wasn't in a mood to fight with anybody, though she remained appropriately snarky despite that. If Schro was looking for a duel of any sort, it'd be with words. Other than that, Sal wouldn't have it.
Unless, of course, Schro tempted him. But she'd have to see. Best not to judge an opponent too early.
So she gathered up her guns - even a cutlass - and made her way to the deck. Dressed accordingly in an all-black suit: long coat, puffy pants, sturdy boots, button-up shirt, and an eye patch of all things, she felt some degree cool, but not enough that she didn't miss her regular bodysuit. She almost wanted to be a gender just to hide the fact that it tended to be too uncomfortable.
The sky was mostly clear with some thick, white clouds rolling by. She hadn't seen a sky like this since she camped out on the roof of a building back in New York for two weeks. It truly was breathtaking. The water did add to the atmosphere.
Lazily, she climbed on a hogshead to perch herself up on the rail overlooking the deck. Back to the helm, she just enjoyed the view while waiting for Schro.
