Dante's eyes remained narrowed and she nodded curtly. She would deal with Light's little slip up later. And Dante wasn't about to ask Blythe anything - she wouldn't take the risk of a direct question being remembered. Anything that could be possibly be linked to her was out of the question.
She turned back to the girl, hands running over her skin softly - it was a strange mix of intimacy and appraisal, half lover's caress, half testing meat for firmness and freshness.
"We'll see," she said, keeping her voice soft for the girl's benefit. She let her fingers move into the girl's hair, threading through it and carding it tenderly.
"A pity we're stuck here, where I haven't the means to properly enjoy her."
