L looked at Morana while she looked at him; all things considered, they actually looked like relatives; both had fair complexions, wiry frames, black hair, and grey eyes. Time would tell if they were similar any other ways.
She didn't sound like she spoke often... that stutter, along with the low volume of the girl's voice, indicated that much.
"You've never tried coffee?" L echoed, setting a cup of coffee on the desk for Morana and dropping eight or nine sugar cubes in his own. "That's a shame... it's really wonderful, once you get used to the taste..." he took a sip, glancing around the library to check for other visitors. There were none. "So... please make yourself comfortable. I'm sure you know about the war... so far, Asgard has been somewhat worse for it. Some of our members have gotten badly hurt, because Niflheim fights dirty." he glanced over the rim of his coffee cup as he took another sip, watching Morana's face carefully to gauge her reaction.
