Summary: Blythe accepts Mitch's offer to help her hone and improve her defensive magick spell. After some conversations and advice, Alessa and L request to be in attendance.
Ever since the evening when Maria and Eileen visited her room, Blythe had been in fairly better spirits. She was still mostly on pins and needles - this she needed to overcome herself - but the massage had done wonders in pacifying her mood. In fact, by the time Friday morning tumbled in, she was actually feeling confident about this new spell she'd studied and that she would do no permanent damage, to either Mitch or herself.
Mitch was being a good sport about this, and she recognized that. After all, he'd been the first to offer his services to her and continually reminded her that he always wanted to help as best and as often as he could. Originally she hadn't been too keen on possibly putting their health in danger over something as simple as some training, but after some advice-seeking from Alessa, she decided to accept his offer. She liked Alessa and having the young woman attend her practice was a great chance to learn more from her. And not only was Alessa coming, Ryuzaki would be there too. After so much she'd shared with him, she hoped this would help him come to see how strong she could be and that she was certainly capable of defending herself. Perhaps this would ease his worrying a bit. Blythe didn't like knowing he grieved so much for her well-being.
Donning a yellow gown, Blythe dressed more appropriately for the warmer weather, the fabrics being much more airy and the hem at mid-calf. She didn't think much of fighting in a dress, because in the back of her mind, she didn't really consider it fighting. It had been agreed that she and Mitch would meet at the outdoor training arena, but she honestly didn't know where that was. So she thought she'd make it easier on everyone by waiting for Alessa and Ryuzaki out by the front porch so they could make their way over to Mitch and the arena together. So this was where the white-eyed young woman stood patiently, book in hand.
