Nodding briefly in reply, Morana clutched the apple in his hands as she watched Mitch curiously tking things out from cabinets and drawers, listening to his words and nodding along.
Absentmindedly, she pondered over the times she had spent sitting in high branches, whether to pick fruit, or even to look at the bird nests sitting amongst the leaves, watching the chicks chirp while the adult birds fed them. She could recall it as a more content time...maybe she could climb up some of the other trees in Asgard grounds, if it was allowed. Not that the building wasn't nice, but it was still hard to get used to it when you very more accustomed to living and sleeping outdoors.
Turning back to the food on the counter, she looked at all the items in turn, almost trying to figure out some of the mystery foodstuffs she hadn't seen before. She put the apple down for a moment, resting her elbows on the counter and proceeded to stare at the jam jars in a perplexed fashion, before hesitantly poking one. To watch her was much like seeing a curious child, eyes wide, questioning and yet in awe of a new discovery.
