Though Glitch couldn't see it, Carrion shrugged. He wasn't feeling especially creative at the moment for a more elaborate piece of fiction. It's not as if his "patient" would notice the difference.
"This is how I work. It's for your own protection." Carrion loosen his grip, but only slightly. "Is that better? And how do you know? Anything's possible."
He began by picking out the mushrooms. Despite the looping phrase, Carrion simply sighed and said loudly, "Please hold still while I clean this out for you."
