Glitch didn't exactly know what had happened, one moment he was moving quickly towards the second doorway, and the next he was falling backwards; taking down a plethora of instruments, odds, ends, and a chair before landing flat on his back. The air left his lungs due to the instantaneous compression from the fall, barely being missed by a sharp implement that landed point down next to his head.
Unlike most people who would have been knocked out from slamming their head against the ground, Glitch had no brain to be damaged and he could recover slightly quicker to a blow to the head. This did not mean that he didn't feel it, and trying to scramble to get up led him to find that his legs were tangled up with the chair, and the ground was littered with sharp implements.
