The building standing before him was not quite what Glitch would have called a safe haven, but any port in a storm he supposed.
When Glitch was about half-way across the lawn, his steps slowed and he finally stopped walking forward just before the steps themselves. Instead of intent on climbing those steps, Glitch simply looked around, mostly confused to find himself in front of what seemed to be a rather looming abode complete with those sorts of details that might cause one to shudder.
It was the waving hand that caught his attention, and the fact the person (well he hoped they were) had spoken his name. If they knew his name, they must have known him. And if they knew him, they most likely were not with anyone who might have wanted to harm him. although there was that slight feeling that something was off, but he hoped that was nothing more than a reaction to the residence.
As Glitch climbed the stairs to enter the front door, he smiled meekly at the stranger with the glass about their head "I'm guessing that you know me?"
