Will let out a slow breath, white-knuckling the sheet next to his face. He'd showered off again, the third time that day, and his hair was still damp and dark gold. He kept looking down and expecting to see feathers, and not even the bunnies were really helping matters. He'd scared Frank, and made the man put himself at risk. On top of that, he'd dragged Frank into his problems.
And Henry...
Was getting along just great with Eileen. Henry didn't need him anymore.
Will eased his grip on the sheets and jumped at the knock on the door. He pressed his face into the pillow, willing it to go away until he thought, 'What if it's Frank?'
That thought had him immediately to the door. He owed the man so much, and he couldn't afford to be rude. Needless to say, the sight of the beautiful young woman surprised him. He blinked a little, opening the door fully as he wondered if she was alright.
