"I could be wholesome, I could be loathsome..." Who: Alice and Will Where: Asgard, Room 303 (AKA: Will's Room) When: Hours after Alice leaves a message on Will's phone. Rating: PG-13, subject to change to PG or who knows? Warnings: A slightly scary, upset Will? Summary: After leaving Will a voice message on his phone out of concern, offering to spend time with him without asking any questions about what happened or why, Alice becomes concerned even more by his lack of a reply. Daring what she hadn't before, Alice decides to go to Will's room to see him.
It'd been awhile since Will had shown her so much about the now modern Earth. She understood a lot more about the way things had changed and how to use most of the appliances she could find in the kitchen, bathrooms...etc. His appearance didn't alter her opinion of him at all - he looked like he'd been through some tough times, just like Yuri...except without the ability to transform into a monster.
She cringed inwardly and hesitated knocking on the door with that thought. Maybe she shouldn't've thought that. After all, things had arranged themselves so that he'd recently turned into some kind of creature and frightened Frank and several others. Frank had talked to her about Will out of concern, so naturally she wanted to do something for him. Will had a kind heart and he deserved to be treated well.
So Alice would do her best to offer him that much. She steeled herself, fighting the nervous shiver going down her spine. It wasn't because of what Will had done, or even Will himself - she was shy by nature and hated intruding on others. But sometimes, it was more important to do it than let her nature stop her from helping. Being alone...was it really helping Will?
Gently, but loud enough to be heard, Alice knocked on Will's door. Please see me, Will? I won't ask you why, how, or what... She hoped that would be incentive enough. She only wanted to spend time with him, not interrogate him or even force him to think about what had occured. All she wanted was to see the hope of a future smile on his face, even if one didn't happen today.
