L sighed. "It's not perfect yet, like I said. But it involves their main tactician attempting suicide, and me saving his life. Right now, I've worked Light Yagami into a nervous train wreck. He's threatening it, and I'm purposely not taking him seriously. When we meet, he will attempt to kill me, and himself. There is a 78% chance that he'll shoot me in the torso, and that, with a bullet-proof vest, I'll escape unharmed. He, however, will not spare any chances for himself. He'll put the bullet through his head, and whether he lives or dies, it will be the first step in Asgard becoming the offensive power we should be. They'll either be short a tactician, or stuck with a tactician who is nearly useless. But, the important thing is, he'll feel that he owes me for saving his life when I had every right to kill him. He'll begin to systematically dismantle Niflheim and its inhabitants from the inside, following my suggestions as if they were orders. Consider the bomb affair a warm-up for this... he'll do whatever I say, so long as I can prove that I actually care about him... and that's how we'll win." L took a deep breath, realizing that his devotion to the idea had left him trembling slightly.
"Like I said... I'm still working on it," L said, as if preparing to defend the idea from criticism.
