"Yeah," Henry said, nodding. "Something like that. There's...kind of rules, for pictures. Like, um, it's actually not a good idea to have the subject of your picture directly in the center of the image. Um, say I was going to take a picture of you, right now. I wouldn't want you in the center of the picture. I'd take it with you kind of to the side. And since you're in a kind of dark colored dress, and your hair is dark, I'd want to take it from this angle, here, to make sure you had a light background behind you. And I'd probably...." he held up the camera, looking through the shutter and taking in the area's around Eileen.
"Move here, and get the edge of the banner above you, and the balloons to the right of you, so there's a half-frame naturally occurring in the picture." He lowered his camera and cleared his throat, realizing he was probably boring Eileen to tears. "Um, but, yeah. Once certain aspects of composition are ingrained, you just kind of look for that perfect shot automatically."
