Sal took the opportunity to find herself a chair as Shinji spoke, making herself comfortable. She figured she owed to herself to be lazy for a least ten minutes before she had to continue her scouting rounds. And talking to Shinji, well, hmmm, what sort of fool would she be to pass up an opportunity like that?
As he moved his way around the computer and wires, Sal absentmindedly plucked at some of the straps on her body suit. Everyone had their area of expertise, and while she wouldn't always quite understand it, she wasn't about to have a tantrum trying to figure it out. "Getting a bit cramped in Niflheim, with all that ego you gotta carry around? I'm amazed you can still fit through doors with a head as big as yours."
Admittedly, Shinji, to Sal, was Light with a conscience. To be honest, she wasn't quite sure which one was worse, but there were a lot of similarities (and very blatant dissimilarities) between them.
"You must get homesick." She added randomly, turning her attention to some dirt under her nails.
