Yako laughed again, just once, and gave Lucifer a helpless, hopeless look. She had long since passed the point where she was able to dictate what the Blood could and could not do. Her eyes slipped shut and she rested her forehead on her knees once more. After all, she supposed if the Lucifer in front of her was real he'd be more than capable of holding his own.
