Giles was still incredibly flustered by Faith's suggestion--which he had misread, he couldn't believe that--and by her reaction. Before he could re-gather his wits about him, Faith had made her escape.
Frowning worriedly, he picked up the nearest pad of paper and his favorite fountain pen, and began to list the effects that Faith had confessed to him. Once he'd written them all down, Giles pushed back determinedly from his desk and took the few short steps down the hallway to the library, searching for one of the boxes of past Watcher lore and starting to read.
