“Oh you do want to leave! Trust me. The woman who own the house lives here too and she’s forever slinking about. I mean, she knows about me and what I do. She knows about the whole supernatural thing but that doesn’t make her any less annoying.” He grinned at Buffy and lowered his voice. “She made it quite clear on my first day here that she was, shall we say, available. She’s about ninety but doesn’t stop her lurking around trying to catch me coming out of the shower and stuff. So now that she knows I have a girl in here…and she will..she’ll have a glass against that wall and new batteries in her Rampant Rabbit!”
He put his hand on her back and gently guided her towards the door. Outside, there was a scuffling noise and Dean covered his mouth to stifle a laugh. “See, I told you! She’s out there listening and the moment we went near the door, off she goes. She’s pretty agile for her age too so she can escape quickly.”
He opened the door just in time for both of them to see a door across the hall close quickly. “C’mon…let’s go. You know of any decent places fairly close?”
