"I think the Pod has a big garage," Buffy said, "I'm sure you could keep your car in there. I mean, I know your place isn't all that close, but just in case. It's there." She was careful in her heeled boots not to mis-step, especially over the newly snow-covered ground. It was a bit slippery, but at least she had some sort of slayer grace.
"That's fine," she said, "I'd rather not stop at my place, actually. I'm afraid that if I step one foot in that building someone will need me for something and then I'll never escape." Plus, she wasn't sure she wanted anyone to spot her bringing a guy back to her place late at night, even if they were only popping in for a moment. She was judged enough as it was. Not that really cared what anyone there thought, she just didn't want to be bothered with a barrage of questions.
She took a moment to glance around his apartment. Yep, definitely looked like he just got here. She smiled, shaking her head, "Don't worry about it, I know how that is." She looked at him sheepishly for a moment, "Could you, like, bring an extra shirt for me to wear? Something to sleep in, I mean. Leather pants aren't all that comfortable."
