At this point, she wasn't sure if she would necessarily mind the whole taking advantage of. Of course, it wasn't really taking advantage if she truly wanted it. Not that she would let on about that. Not yet, anyway. Buffy laughed as he went into defense mode, "Be glad you're on the other side of the booth, or you may have gotten an elbow in the ribs." She nodded in agreement about Faith, "Don't even get me started on her. She and I don't exactly see eye to eye on...well, anything."
She leaned her chin on her palm as he went on his rant about the Council. "Jeez, where were you when I actually needed to work with the Council?" she said, "I could've used someone on the inside on Team Buffy back then."
As his eyes met hers, she nodded slightly, "Well, yeah. I mean, I don't know how much you know about me, since you're a watcher and all. I really have no idea what people say or learn about me, so they could have it all wrong or misunderstand something. I just want to be honest because I've started too many relationships with a zillion secrets and I just don't want that," she paused, realizing she used the dreaded r-word, "N-not that we're starting a relationship right now," she quickly corrected herself, taking a sip of her drink, "I just mean, well....I don't know what I mean, except that I want us to be completely and totally ourselves."
