Buffy raised an amused, yet intrigued eyebrow at his suggestion to wrestle, "I might take you up on that offer because I'm always up for sparring. I don't want to hurt you, though," she teased as she dipped a fry in ketchup before munching on it.
She leaned her chin in her palm, momentarily ceasing the devouring of her cheeseburger as she listened to him. Her expression fell as her mouth parted in shock from the ending of his story, "Oh my god," she spoke softly, "I'm so sorry." She reached over and gently placed a hand over his, "I feel like such an ass now. I didn't know asking you that question would bring up something like that. I'm so sorry," she said, her brows furrowing in concern.
"But, that's definitely a more honorable way of getting into this business than being simply born into it," she said, "If that makes any sense. I guess...I mean, I can understand why you became one."
